Technologist Innovation Session

Join us for presentations focused on new technologies or improvements and helpful troubleshooting tips for current methods presented by technologists currently using the methods or who have optimized or designed new processes.

Topics include, for example:

Adapting new technologies for patient benefit
Implementation of automation in the molecular lab
QA/QC assessment
Streamlining workflow
Technologist training issues/solutions
Dealing with increased throughput and shorter TAT demands
Molecular data management and analysis
Quality improvements and elegant solutions for existing methods
Other innovative methods or ideas

Want to be a presenter?

The Technologist Innovation Session provides an opportunity for AMP technologist members to present their work in 20-minute oral presentations. Up to three abstracts will be selected.

If your abstract focuses on improvements, optimization and/or helpful troubleshooting tips for current methods, or a design of a new process, consider selecting this option. Each selected individual will receive a $1,000 honorarium to cover registration and/or travel expenses.

If selected, you will present your poster and give an oral presentation for this session. If selected, you will not be eligible to receive a poster or travel award.
